School Workshops
HRDS offers special workshops in schools.
These are not simply drama lessons within your school. Rather, they are a real link to specific curricula outcomes. Our unique ‘In-School’ workshop programs take into account the scope and sequence of target learning outcomes for a particular stage group. We can also work to tailor and develop a program to link with a unit of work.
We currently work with children in many schools throughout the Hunter Region building performance skills, devising plays and rehearsing for drama festivals and other special performance events.
We can also offer special performances to complement class topics, augmented with dramatic performances and workshops to expose young people to social issues such as bullying and values.
